Nearest station: Azabu-juban

Azabu-juban contains busy restaurant and retail streets immediately beside residential neighborhoods. Safety should therefore not be generalized simply from the area's Minato City location; the Metropolitan Police Department's published crime information is more useful when checked by specific neighborhood and time period. For disasters, Minato City publishes separate maps covering tsunami, liquefaction, seismic shaking, flooding and inland-water flooding, storm surge and landslide risks. The flood and inland-flood information was updated in July 2026, and an English edition was added on September 1, 2026. Local topography can change quickly between areas near the Furukawa water system, lower ground and surrounding slopes, so disaster exposure should not be inferred from station distance alone. Before renting or purchasing a home or office, users should check the exact address on Minato City's electronic hazard maps and also review evacuation locations, building seismic performance and whether underground floors are present.
