Transport and Rail Access at Takanawadai

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation, Takanawadai is station A06 on the Toei Asakusa Line, between Gotanda A05 and Sengakuji A07. The line serves Shimbashi, Nihombashi, Higashi-Nihombashi, Asakusa and Oshiage, while through services via Sengakuji connect with the Keikyu network toward Shinagawa and Haneda Airport. In fiscal 2024, the station recorded an average of 6,833 boarding passengers and 7,136 alighting passengers per day. Facilities include four escalators, one elevator, an accessible restroom and a secured step-free route. There is no direct JR interchange at Takanawadai, but Gotanda is one stop away for the Yamanote and Tokyu Ikegami lines. Sengakuji and Takanawa Gateway are also nearby, while Shinagawa can be reached by combining walking, bus or taxi. Official station information also includes Toei bus services.
