Latest Takanawa Gateway Updates: September 2026

As of September 11, 2026, several current developments are visible in official information for the Takanawa Gateway district. NEWoMan Takanawa's South, North and LUFTBAUM areas reach their first anniversary on September 12, with participating stores offering commemorative products, campaigns and events. TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY has scheduled complimentary yukata dressing services for September 12 and 13. At MoN Takanawa, Tsukimachi no Yoi runs from September 9 through September 26, while the Guruguru Exhibition continues through September 23 and Inochi no Mirai Plus through September 26. TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY RESIDENCE released an updated promotional video with additional interior footage on September 8, and leasing and viewing activity remains underway. Discussions also continue regarding the preservation and use of Takanawa Embankment remains in relation to future development. Takanawa Gateway is therefore not a completed station project in a static sense; in 2026 the district is still evolving in how its cultural, residential, commercial and public spaces are used.
