The TAKANAWA GATEWAY Clinics Medical & Life Design Hub occupies the fourth and fifth floors of THE LINKPILLAR 2 and is accessible on foot from Takanawa Gateway Station. The official facility guide lists internal medicine, health screening, comprehensive checkups and endoscopy; ENT and allergy care; a women's clinic; orthopedics and rehabilitation; respiratory and sleep medicine; dentistry, orthodontics and implant dentistry; and a dispensing pharmacy. The facility is also designed to accommodate international patients, an important feature in an area being developed as a global business district. Larger hospitals and specialist institutions are available in the wider Takanawa, Shinagawa and Mita area. While everyday outpatient needs can increasingly be handled close to the station, opening hours, supported languages, insurance coverage and booking arrangements differ by clinic. Residents should also identify appropriate emergency hospitals separately, as individual outpatient clinics are not substitutes for emergency departments.
