Aoyama-itchome for Students and Young Residents
Map & surroundings
Aoyama-itchome provides convenient access to Shibuya, Omotesando, Akasaka, Roppongi and Shinjuku, making it practical for students and younger residents who move around central Tokyo for classes, part-time work, internships or recruitment activities. The Akasaka Child and Youth Plaza Aoyama Branch in Kita-aoyama 3-chome also serves people under 18. Housing, however, reflects the central Minato and Aoyama location, and even small single-person units can differ substantially in price according to building age, floor area and station distance. A single headline average rent can therefore be misleading. Current listings should be compared using consistent criteria. Expanding a search toward Akasaka, Nogizaka or Gaienmae can materially change the available inventory. Anyone planning to use a bicycle should also confirm bicycle-parking availability and the building's rules before signing a lease.
