Housing and Streetscape
Map & surroundings
Akasaka 3-chome immediately around the station is dominated by restaurants, hotels and offices and therefore has a much stronger commercial character than a conventional residential neighborhood. Minato City's September 1, 2026 population data records 168 households and 231 residents in Akasaka 3-chome, substantially fewer residents than in several surrounding neighborhoods. By comparison, Akasaka 4-chome had 1,459 households and 2,355 residents, while Akasaka 6-chome had 2,505 households and 4,005 residents. Residential apartment use therefore becomes much more prominent outside the immediate commercial core. Streetscapes vary from high-rise buildings on major roads to narrow nightlife streets and sloped residential blocks. A listing described merely as being within walking distance of Akasaka-mitsuke does not reveal these differences. Noise, sunlight, terrain and evening activity should be checked at the exact property.
