Akasaka-mitsuke is served directly by the Tokyo Metro Ginza and Marunouchi lines. The Ginza Line provides direct connections toward Shibuya, Shimbashi, Ginza, Nihombashi, Ueno and Asakusa, while the Marunouchi Line links the area with Shinjuku, Tokyo, Otemachi and Ikebukuro. Within the paid area, Akasaka-mitsuke connects with Nagatacho Station, allowing transfers to the Yurakucho, Hanzomon and Namboku lines. The complex therefore functions as a five-line subway hub. Tokyo Metro reported an average of 91,399 passenger entries and exits per day in fiscal 2025. Local buses and Minato City's Chiibus community buses also operate nearby. Akasaka, Tameike-sanno and Nagatacho stations are within the broader walking area, giving residents and workers several route choices. Temporary bus-stop suspensions can occur during festivals or traffic restrictions.
