Parks and Green Space around Omote-sando

The zelkova trees lining Omotesando are the area's most visible greenery. Minami-Aoyama also contains several Minato-managed neighborhood playgrounds, including those in 3-, 4- and 6-chome. Farther out is Aoyama Park. Minato's Aoyama Park at 2-21-12 Minami-Aoyama covers 9,752.74 square meters and provides play space, flower beds, seating, exercise equipment and toilets. Tokyo Metropolitan Aoyama Park extends through parts of Minami-Aoyama 1-chome and Roppongi 7-chome and includes event and multipurpose spaces. There is no enormous park immediately outside Omote-sando Station, but street trees, neighborhood parks and landscaped cultural sites provide varied greenery for a dense central-city district.
