Business and Office Environment in Kamiyacho
Map & surroundings
Kamiyacho occupies a strategic position between Kasumigaseki, Toranomon and Roppongi and attracts offices for major corporations, legal and financial businesses, and international companies. Tokyo World Gate's Kamiyacho Trust Tower, close to the station, was completed in March 2020. The 38-story building with three basement levels has approximately 198,774 square meters of gross floor area and combines offices, hotel, residences and retail. Nearby Azabudai Hills and Toranomon Hills reinforce the business cluster. With the addition of Station Tower and related projects, Toranomon Hills has developed into a mixed-use district of approximately 7.5 hectares and roughly 800,000 square meters of total floor area. Direct Hibiya Line access to Kasumigaseki, Hibiya and Ginza is another business advantage. Office selection should consider much more than headline rent, including service charges, fit-out obligations, HVAC hours, electrical capacity, security, visitor circulation, parking and whether corporate registration is permitted. Lease structures and specifications can differ significantly between large premium towers and older small or medium-sized office buildings.
