Parks and Green Space around Kamiyacho

Despite its high-rise skyline, Kamiyacho has access to several types of green space. Toward Atago, Atagoyama preserves a noticeable natural rise in the central-city terrain together with historic religious sites. Azabudai Hills incorporates plazas and extensive landscaping into its large-scale redevelopment and is directly accessible from the station, making its greenery easy to use as part of everyday life. Farther east and southeast lies the Shiba Park area. According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association, Metropolitan Shiba Park extends across Shibakoen 1-4 chome, is generally open at all times and has free general admission, although individual facilities may have separate conditions. Shiba Park is one of Japan's oldest public parks and forms an important green setting around Tokyo Tower.
