Shopping around Kamiyacho

Kamiyacho's shopping environment changed substantially after Azabudai Hills opened in 2023. The complex connects directly to Kamiyacho Station Exit 5 and brings together retail, food, restaurants and personal services. Everyday facilities inside the development include a post office, ATMs and convenience stores. The station itself also provides services such as an ATM, coin lockers and an automated foreign-currency exchange machine. Across the established Kamiyacho streetscape, convenience stores, drugstore-type retailers and numerous businesses serving office workers remain available. Walking toward Toranomon adds the retail facilities of Toranomon Hills to the practical shopping area. This is not, however, a neighborhood organized around large suburban-style supermarkets, and price levels and operating hours vary widely among stores. Prospective residents should test the actual walk from a candidate home to their preferred supermarket, pharmacy, dry cleaner and other frequently used services before deciding whether the neighborhood suits their daily routine.
