Parks and Green Spaces around Tamachi

One of the most convenient green spaces on Tamachi's east side is Shibaura Park. Minato City lists it at 1-16-25 Shibaura with an area of 6,800.05 square metres. The current park was developed in July 2016 and includes cushioned play equipment, spring toys, a climbing feature, drinking water, pergolas and a ball-throwing area. Cherry, dogwood and ginkgo trees provide seasonal greenery. The park is next to Minato Park Shibaura and Aiiku Hospital and is conveniently reached from Tamachi's east side using the pedestrian-deck network. Shibaura also has canal-side walking routes, producing a waterfront character quite different from Mita. The park is not a large natural reserve, but its proximity makes it useful for children's play, short breaks and light exercise. Families with young children should also consider road crossings and bicycle traffic when moving through the canal district.
