JR East's September 2026 timetable lists Yamanote Line services from Tamachi toward Shinagawa and Shibuya in one direction and Tokyo and Ueno in the other, together with southbound Keihin-Tohoku/Negishi services toward Shinagawa and Kamata and northbound services toward Tokyo and Ueno. The Yamanote Line provides direct access to major centers including Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo and Ueno. Mita Station, immediately west of JR Tamachi, adds the Toei Asakusa and Mita lines. The Asakusa Line provides access toward Shimbashi, Nihombashi, Asakusa and Keikyu routes, while the Mita Line serves Hibiya, Otemachi and northern Tokyo. A pedestrian deck links the Shibaura side with Minato Park Shibaura, which Minato City lists as approximately five minutes on foot from Tamachi's east exit. Local bus and Minato City Chii Bus services also operate around the station. Commuters should allow for heavier station traffic during weekday morning and evening peaks.
