Tameike-sanno Transport: Ginza Line G06 and Namboku Line N06
Map & surroundings
Tameike-sanno is interchange station G06 on the Ginza Line and N06 on the Namboku Line. The Ginza Line connects toward Akasaka-mitsuke and Shibuya in one direction and Toranomon, Ginza and Asakusa in the other. The Namboku Line serves Nagatacho, Iidabashi and Akabane-iwabuchi northbound and Roppongi-itchome, Azabu-juban and Meguro southbound. Inside the paid area, the station is connected to Kokkai-gijidomae, enabling transfers to the Marunouchi and Chiyoda lines. Tokyo Metro reports average daily ridership of 131,557 in fiscal 2025, ranking the station 20th among 130 stations in the relevant ranking. Step-free elevator routes are available for both lines, and the station contains convenience retail, a drugstore and multiple ATMs. Because Akasaka, Toranomon, Kasumigaseki and Nagatacho overlap within the wider walking area, practical connectivity extends well beyond the two lines shown in the station name. Transfers inside the large station complex can require significant walking, so regular commuters benefit from choosing exits and boarding positions carefully.
