Nearest station: Hamamatsucho

The principal green space beside Hamamatsucho is Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Gardens at 1-4-1 Kaigan. The Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association lists the garden as a one-minute walk from the JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku Line north exit. Standard opening hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m.; general admission is ¥150 and admission for visitors aged 65 or over is ¥70. The site is one of Tokyo's surviving early-Edo daimyo gardens, characterized by a central pond, strolling-garden composition and prominent stonework. Walking west from the station provides access to the broader Shiba Park landscape, including Zojoji and the area around Tokyo Tower. The immediate proximity of historic green space is unusual for such a dense high-rise business district. Construction, weather or events can occasionally restrict sections of the garden, so current notices should be checked before visiting.
