Sengakuji's best-known event is the Ako Gishi Festival, held twice each year in April and December. The temple's current announcement schedules the 2026 winter festival for December 12-14, with temple visiting hours of 7:00-20:00 and the memorial museum open 9:00-18:00 during the three days. A ceremonial procession is expected to arrive at about 15:30 on December 14, and a special display associated with Oishi Kuranosuke is scheduled at the museum from December 11-21. Regular programming also includes a beginner's zazen session on the fourth Saturday of each month, other meditation meetings, educational lectures and a monthly prayer service on the 14th. The official site additionally announced calligraphy and tea-ceremony experiences for September 2026. Event details can change, so visitors should confirm the current temple announcement before attending. ([曹洞宗 江戸三ヶ寺 萬松山 泉岳寺][9])
