Events around Shiodome

Commercial facilities, cultural institutions and public spaces in Shiodome host events throughout the year. As of September 11, 2026, the railway history exhibition room at Old Shimbashi Station is presenting 'Showa 100: Station Scenes of the Showa Era' from July 28 through November 23, 2026. The exhibition uses historic railway photographs, including material preserved by the Railway Museum, to look back at station and railway landscapes during the Showa period. The official Shiodome Sio-Site website also maintains a 2026 event calendar with information on fairs, exhibitions and other programs in the district's commercial facilities. The Ad Museum Tokyo provides additional permanent and temporary advertising exhibitions. Because schedules can change, official information should be checked before visiting. Shiodome's basic pedestrian pattern is dominated by weekday office traffic, but exhibitions, theater performances and seasonal events can noticeably alter evening and weekend activity.
