Walking-area guide: 500m / 800m / 1km

Nearest station: Hinode

Hinode offers an open waterfront environment and convenient Yurikamome access toward Shimbashi and Odaiba, but the large proportion of port and office uses means pedestrian activity can change significantly by time of day. Streets busy with workers on weekdays may feel very different late at night or on weekends. No official station-level index was identified that would justify categorically describing Hinode as especially safe for women. Prospective residents should therefore walk the actual route from the station to the property after dark and inspect lighting, pavements, intersections and the location of convenience stores or other occupied premises. Since everyday shopping may involve routes toward Hamamatsucho or Shibaura, it is also useful to test the journey home while carrying groceries. Disaster preparedness should be evaluated at the exact building level, including storm-surge and tsunami information as well as the floor on which the residence is located.
