Events Around Hinode | Waterfront Programs at Hi-NODE and Hinode Pier
Map & surroundings
Waterfront spaces at Hinode Pier and Hi-NODE are periodically used for public events. Minato City, for example, listed an educational program held on January 31, 2026 that began at Hi-NODE and combined boat travel and walking to explore Tokyo's forests, rivers and sea. This illustrates the type of programming found in the district: not only commercial events, but also activities linked to navigation, the environment and local culture. Hi-NODE's passenger area, restaurants, lawn and decks also make it suitable for community and promotional programs. Expanding the walking area toward Takeshiba and Shibaura 1-chome adds theatres, commercial venues and event spaces around BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA. Events are generally temporary, however, and a program held in the past should not be assumed to be continuing. Visitors should confirm current schedules through Minato City, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Hi-NODE and individual venue websites.
