Parks and Waterfront Space Around Hinode Station

Hinode is not an area of large forested parks, but Tokyo Bay and the surrounding canals give it a distinctive waterfront environment. Suehiro-bashi Children's Park at 2-1-27 Kaigan is a small Minato City park of 112.80 square meters with benches and planting, useful as a short rest point during a walk. City information also notes seasonal trees including dogwood and ginkgo. Toward Shibaura, canal-side green spaces such as the Shibaura Canal Greenway offer additional waterfront scenery. Hi-NODE at Hinode Pier provides a lawn and deck areas where visitors can spend time beside the bay. The pier, however, remains an active port facility handling cargo. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government advises visitors not to enter warehouse surroundings, working quays and other restricted areas. Residents and visitors should therefore distinguish clearly between public waterfront spaces and operational port zones.
