Nearest station: Hinode

Hinode Station is located at 2-7-68 Kaigan in Minato City and is served by the Yurikamome Line. The surrounding waterfront combines Tokyo Bay, the Shibaura canals, Hinode Pier, traditional port facilities, warehouses, apartments, offices and restaurants. According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Bureau of Port and Harbor, Hinode Pier was completed in 1925 and is the oldest pier facility in the Port of Tokyo. It continues to perform port functions while also serving sightseeing boats, water buses and restaurant cruises. Minato City's Basic Resident Register recorded 1,277 residents and 734 households in Kaigan 2-chome as of August 1, 2026. The immediate station area is not a major shopping district, but walking north connects to Takeshiba and Hamamatsucho, while Shibaura and Tamachi lie to the southwest. Waterfront projects including Hi-NODE and BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA are gradually transforming the wider district from a primarily logistics and office zone into an area combining work, housing, recreation and waterborne transport.
