Nearest station: Shimbashi

JR East serves Shimbashi with the Yamanote Line JY29, Keihin-Tohoku Line JK24, Tokaido Line JT02 and Yokosuka Line JO18. Tokyo Metro's Ginza Line station is G08, between Toranomon toward Shibuya and Ginza toward Asakusa. The Toei Asakusa Line station is A10, between Daimon A09 and Higashi-ginza A11. Some Asakusa Line trains continue through to Keikyu services, providing access toward Haneda Airport depending on the service. Yurikamome station U01 begins at Shimbashi and runs toward Shiodome, Daiba, Ariake and Toyosu. Yurikamome provides elevators between street, concourse and platform levels. The wider Shimbashi complex has numerous exits, including the Ginza, Karasumori, Hibiya and Shiodome sides, and choosing the wrong exit can result in a substantial surface detour. Underground passages and elevated walkways are particularly extensive toward Shiodome, so checking the best exit for the destination is worthwhile.
