Parks Around Onarimon: Metropolitan Shiba Park About Two Minutes Away

Metropolitan Shiba Park is the principal green-space asset around Onarimon. Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association officially lists the park as approximately two minutes on foot from the station. The historic park extends around the Tokyo Tower and Zojoji area and supports walking, running and everyday recreation. Together with the temple grounds and street trees, it creates a sharp transition from the dense Nishi-Shimbashi office district to a greener landscape within only a few minutes. In July 2026, the park association announced completion of a new Shiba Park tree map, and events scheduled for October include a tree stamp rally, photography walk, health walking festival and cultural-property walks. Shiba Park is divided into multiple sections by roads, temple grounds and other land uses rather than forming one continuous flat park, so actual walking times differ by destination. Prospective residents should consider both access to greenery and traffic conditions on surrounding major roads.
