Transport and Rail Access at Hiro-o Station
Map & surroundings
Hiro-o Station is served solely by the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and carries station code H03. Ebisu is one stop toward Nakameguro and Roppongi is one stop in the opposite direction. Direct Hibiya Line service continues toward Kamiyacho, Toranomon Hills, Kasumigaseki, Hibiya, Ginza, Akihabara and Ueno, with connections to JR and other subway lines available at interchange stations. The station is located in Minami-Azabu 5-chome, with exits serving Hiro-o Bridge, Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park, Nishi-Azabu and the broader Hiroo area. Tokyo Metro reports average daily ridership of 59,210 in fiscal 2025. Buses supplement rail access, while the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center is listed as approximately 15 minutes away on foot. Because the surrounding terrain contains numerous slopes, an 800-meter route can feel very different depending on direction. Residents should therefore assess elevation, station exits and accessibility facilities as well as nominal walking distance.
