Business and Office Environment in Daimon
Map & surroundings
Daimon and Hamamatsucho form one of the principal office districts in eastern Minato City. The Asakusa and Oedo lines, JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines and the Tokyo Monorail provide strong access both to central business districts and Haneda Airport, making the area attractive for headquarters, sales offices and internationally oriented companies. Major redevelopment around Hamamatsucho Station, including the World Trade Center area, continues to reshape office and commercial functions. Shibadaimon, meanwhile, contains many smaller and mid-sized office buildings suitable for smaller companies and professional-service firms. Office selection should extend beyond rent and walking time to issues such as corporate-registration permission, 24-hour access, air-conditioning hours, security, visitor routes, meeting rooms, parking, deliveries and restoration obligations. Older buildings and newer redevelopment properties can differ considerably in seismic performance, infrastructure, electrical capacity and business-continuity features. The right choice depends on operational needs and employee commuting patterns.
