Transport and Access from Daimon

Daimon is an interchange between the Toei Asakusa and Toei Oedo lines. The Asakusa Line provides services toward Shimbashi, Nihombashi, Asakusa and Oshiage as well as Mita, Sengakuji and Nishi-magome, with through services creating useful routes toward both Haneda and Narita airports. The Oedo Line provides direct access toward Shiodome, Tsukijishijo, Roppongi, Aoyama-itchome and Shinjuku. Nearby Hamamatsucho Station adds the JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines and the Tokyo Monorail to Haneda Airport. For April 2024 through March 2025, the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation reported 51,586 daily boardings and 51,695 alightings on the Asakusa Line at Daimon, totaling 103,281, and 58,273 boardings plus 57,896 alightings on the Oedo Line, totaling 116,169. These line figures include interchange movements and should not simply be added as unique station users. The combination makes Daimon particularly strong for both central Tokyo and airport travel.
