Transport and Access from Gaiemmae

Gaiemmae is Tokyo Metro Ginza Line station G03. The neighboring stations are Omote-sando toward Shibuya and Aoyama-itchome toward Asakusa. There is no interchange with another line inside Gaiemmae Station itself, but Omote-sando connects with the Hanzomon and Chiyoda lines, while Aoyama-itchome connects with the Hanzomon Line and Toei Oedo Line. The Ginza Line also provides direct service toward Shibuya, Akasaka-mitsuke, Shimbashi, Ginza, Nihombashi, Ueno and Asakusa. The station runs beneath Aoyama-dori and serves the Jingu Gaien, Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium, Meiji Jingu Stadium and the Kita-Aoyama and Minami-Aoyama business districts. Exits and surrounding sidewalks can become crowded during major events. Depending on the destination, Aoyama-itchome and Omote-sando are also within practical walking range, giving the area additional transport flexibility.
