Nearest station: Daiba

Housing around Daiba differs markedly from Tokyo neighborhoods characterized by older detached houses and narrow streets. Large apartment complexes sit within a planned environment of broad roads, pedestrian spaces, parks and public facilities. Daiba 1-chome in particular contains substantial residential blocks together with Odaiba Gakuen, childcare facilities, the children's hall and civic center. Minato City recorded 4,504 residents in Daiba 1-chome and 983 in Daiba 2-chome on September 1, 2026. Although visitor facilities dominate around the station, the atmosphere changes noticeably within the residential sections. Bay and Rainbow Bridge views and open pedestrian space are attractions of waterfront housing, while strong winds, salt exposure and disaster risks such as storm surge, tsunami and liquefaction require attention. Building age, management quality, long-term repair planning, emergency equipment and parking conditions vary by condominium, so individual-building due diligence is more useful than judging housing solely by the general Odaiba image.
