Roppongi Hills contains a broad mix of retail, restaurants and services; its published standard hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for shops and 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. for restaurants, although individual businesses may differ. Tokyo Midtown offers additional fashion, interior, food and service businesses. Convenience stores and drugstores are also distributed around the station, making after-work purchases relatively easy. Roppongi's retail structure, however, differs from suburban residential areas built around very large supermarkets.
