Nearest station: Mita

Mita Station is in Shiba 5-chome, Minato City, and is served by the Toei Asakusa Line as A08 and the Toei Mita Line as I04. The Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation lists nearby Tamachi Station on the JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines as a transfer connection, making the area particularly convenient for combining subway and JR travel. The character of the neighborhood changes noticeably by direction: office buildings line Dai-Ichi Keihin, commercial facilities cluster around Tamachi, restaurants fill the Keio Naka-dori area, while Keio University's Mita Campus and quieter residential streets lie toward Mita 2-chome. Fudanotsuji Square contains Mita Library, a supermarket and tourism and business facilities. Farther west, slopes, temples and established residential streets create a calmer setting than the modern office zone around the station. Mita therefore functions simultaneously as a business district, university neighborhood and central Tokyo residential area.
