Walking-area guide: 500m / 800m / 1km

Nearest station: Odaiba-kaihinkoen

The station area is not only residential and tourism-oriented; it is also part of Tokyo's waterfront business district. Office buildings such as Daiba Frontier Building stand in Daiba 2-chome close to the station, and Yurikamome's official station information lists the Frontier Building as a temporary-stay facility for emergencies. Broadcasting and media functions are also present nearby. Extending eastward through Aomi, Telecom Center and Ariake toward Tokyo Big Sight, the wider waterfront subcenter contains offices, technology and research facilities, exhibition venues and hotels. A direct Yurikamome connection to Shimbashi is useful for business travel into central Tokyo, while Ariake and Toyosu are also easily accessible. The market for large corporate office floors is different from the market for inexpensive small-business premises, however. Companies considering a lease should examine service charges, HVAC operating hours, deliveries, visitor access, corporate-registration permission, permitted use, parking and business-continuity arrangements in addition to headline rent.
