Events Around Odaiba-kaihinkoen

Odaiba Marine Park and the surrounding commercial waterfront host events throughout the year. On September 13, 2026, Minato City is scheduled to hold the 20th Water Front Festival at the metropolitan Odaiba Marine Park, with six-person inflatable-boat races, community stage performances, experience booths and beach games. The 2026 event also marks both Minato City's 80th anniversary and the festival's 20th edition, so commemorative programs are planned. An Odaiba lantern event is scheduled at the marine park on September 12, while Tokyo Aqua Symphony and drone-show performances are scheduled from September 18 through 22. Major exhibitions, music events and other programs also take place at Tokyo Big Sight and in nearby Aomi. As a result, station passenger volumes and road conditions can change substantially on event days. For residents, the event calendar is both an amenity and a reason to check advance notices concerning crowds, noise and temporary traffic controls.
