Childcare and Family Life Around Odaiba-kaihinkoen
Map & surroundings
Minato City's Daiba Nursery School and Daiba Children's Hall are both located in the Daiba Community Plaza at 1-5-1 Daiba, only a few minutes on foot from Odaiba-kaihinkoen Station. Routine use of the children's hall does not normally require a reservation, although user registration is required. Its programs include Kamome Kids Petit activities for parents and young children; as of September 2026, separate groups were being offered for babies through early walkers and for walking children through preschool age. The facility is also used by elementary, junior-high and high-school-age children, with selected weekend opening days. Its waterfront location is incorporated into activities such as seaside walks and beach play. Nursery admission is a separate matter: availability depends on age group, application timing and the number of places available. Families should therefore check Minato City's current vacancy and application information rather than assuming that proximity to the station guarantees a nursery place.
